Jess has a keen interest in both women’s health and neurological rehabilitation. Jess is currently completing her Graduate Diploma in Neurological Rehabilitation to further specialise in the area of neuro rehab and is active within the Women’s Health Clinic at Sports and Spinal Physiotherapy. Jess has completed professional development in the areas of exercise for endometriosis, cervical cancer, breast cancer, RED-S (relative energy deficiency in sport), and pelvic floor muscle considerations in exercise prescription. Jess's clinical experience is predominantly treating women receiving breast cancer treatment, those living with multiple sclerosis (men and women) and women during all stages of their pregnancy journey. Jess is a qualified Pilates instructor (QLD Institute of Pilates) and has a preference to prescribe pilates based exercises for muscle relaxation, postural alignment, neuromuscular facilitation and strength development.
Jess is an independent exercise physiologist working out of Sports and Spinal Physiotherapists in Port Macquarie.
